The first day of summer is always very bittersweet. It's great because, hello, it's the first day of Summer! And the longest day of the year! But it also marks the beginning of when the days start to shorten. The sun will set tonight at 8:29pm, and from here on out, that will shorten up minute by minute, until we set the clocks back in November.
I wish I had a good pic of the poster for the July 12 fight, because my name actually appears as one of the fighters towards the bottom. When I saw this at the gym on Wednesday, my stomach did a little flip of nerves and excitement. It now seems very real indeed!!
As I type this the Cubs and Sox are tied 1-1. Go CUBS!!!
